Hope’s first Winter Gathering
HopeCo. Global Donors, Volunteers, Participants and HopeCo. Jewelry Artisans with the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art Docent.
On December 19, HopeCo. Global gathered for a special winter celebration that brought together artisans, volunteers, and donors for an evening filled with art, fellowship, and gratitude. The gathering took place at the beautiful Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art and Café Gelato, creating the perfect setting to celebrate the HopeCo. community and the meaningful connections that make this work possible.
Our evening began with a generous docent tour provided by a member of the gallery’s fine art staff. Participants were guided through a fascinating exhibit of abstract paintings and sculptures inspired by jazz music. The docent’s thoughtful descriptions brought the artwork to life, helping us see and appreciate the rhythm, movement, and emotion that artists had translated from sound into visual form. It was a unique and inspiring experience for everyone who attended.
After the tour, the group made its way to Café Gelato to enjoy dessert together. During this relaxed and joyful time, HopeCo. founder Veronica Anzorena introduced artisans, volunteers, and donors—many of whom were meeting one another for the very first time. The conversations that followed were filled with encouragement, stories of hope, shared gratitude, and moments of prayer that reflected the heart of the HopeCo. community.

The evening also included a moment of remembrance as we shared the sad news of the passing of one of our beloved artisans, "Nicole", in November. Nicole’s presence and creativity meant so much to the HopeCo. family, and she will be deeply missed.
Before and after the gathering, several participants took time to wander through the Bellagio’s beautiful conservatory and botanical gardens, many experiencing them for the first time. The festive Christmas displays, lights, and seasonal sights created a magical atmosphere that added to the warmth of the evening.
From meaningful conversations to shared laughter and reflection, the December 19 gathering was a wonderful reminder of the community that surrounds HopeCo. Global. We are deeply grateful for every artisan, volunteer, and donor who helps make this mission possible. It truly was a beautiful evening shared by all.
